Get 200,000 points in any song, any difficulty.

Get 300,000 points in any song, any difficulty. This isn't too bad you can do this on Free Bird (Medium) with a lot of room to miss notes. If you can 5 star this song on Medium you can easily practice it and get 300K.

400K Club (30G):
Get 400,000 points in any song, any difficulty. This is pretty hard but it can be done on the two songs listed below... for Free Bird you will have to hit at least 98% with a good SP Path, and on X-Stream you will have to come very close to a FC (Full Combo). You can also get 400K on one of the songs "Famous Last Words" in the new DLC that was just released.
Easiest songs: Free Bird (Medium) or X-Stream (Hard) also Famous Last Words (Hard)

Champagne Room V.I.P. (30G):
Get 500,000 points in any song, any difficulty... this is probably the hardest song in my opinion. There are only 5 ways I know of that this can be achieved: Free Bird (Hard), Free Bird (Expert), Killing in the Name (Expert), Fall of Pangea (Expert), and X-Stream (Expert). I believe the easiest song is X-Stream on Expert... it will take A LOT of practice but this song is pretty simple and repetitive. Just find a good SP path and make sure you get very close to 100% on it otherwise you don't have a chance.


Roadie (10G):
Unlock the Rat Cellar... Unlocked after finishing the first tier of songs in Career Mode.


New Kid (10G):
Unlock the Blackout Bar... Unlocked after finishing the second tier of songs in Career Mode.


Young Gun (10G):
Unlock the RedOctane Club... Unlocked after finishing the third tier of songs in Career Mode.


Axe Grinder (10G):
Unlock the Rock City Theater... Unlocked after finishing the fourth tier of songs in Career Mode.

Yngwie Malmsteen Award (30G):
Get a 1000 note streak on any song, on any difficulty... this sounds pretty tough and it is, I mean it's just hard to go 1000 without missing. You will have trouble with this not because your not good enough, you will just continuously mess up in stupid places and have to restart. But you can do this easily with some practice. I found Free Bird on Medium to be the easiest but you will have to master the GRGR... and RYRY... trills which is a pain. BUT I have heard from many people that X-Stream on Hard is the easiest... also much shorter. You can also get 400K on one of the songs "Famous Last Words" in the new DLC that was just released.
Easiest Songs: X-Stream (Hard), Free Bird (Medium), Famous Last Words (Medium) and Monkey Wrench(Hard)


Easy Tour Champ (10G):
Beat the Easy Tour... NOT including the Bonus Tracks. This is very simple... anybody can do this, only 3 frets in use. Green, Red, and Yellow.


Medium Tour Champ (30G):
Beat the Medium Tour... NOT including the Bonus Tracks. This is also very easy but may be complicated for beginners or average players who are not used to using their pinky on the Blue. You just have to get used to it after time it will become natural. I suggest not to become a 3-fingered Guitar Hero, only because it seems harder.


Hard Tour Champ (30G):
Beat the Hard Tour... NOT including the Bonus Tracks. This is pretty simple but now you have to either slide your hand down or stretch your pinky for the Orange, I prefer to slide my hand down for the Orange.


Expert Tour Champ (30G):
Beat the Expert Tour... NOT including the Bonus Tracks. This is where it gets tough. Average players or Beginners probably won't be able to do this because they won't bother practicing songs. Also the last two tiers of songs will give people problems. BUT this should not take much time if you just go into practice mode and nail the parts you are making mistakes on.


Sandbox Hero Award (30G):
Earn five stars on all songs in the Easy Tour... NOT including the Bonus Tracks.

Start a Real Band Already Award (30G):
Earn five stars on all songs in the Expert Tour... NOT including the Bonus Tracks. Ok, you will have to master EVERYTHING for this. To do this you must really practice each song before attempting this. You will have to once again master certain parts of the song and ONLY use your SP when you can keep a 4x Multiplier otherwise you need to go and practice the song more until you can keep a 4x Multiplier somewhere.

Rock School Grad (10G):
Complete all Tutorials... The Tutorials are listed in the "Training" section of the main menu. If you pay attention, some of you that are new to the game might learn a few things as it covers the basics of notes, chords, hammer-ons, and pull-offs which will help in the future.


Scoremonger Award (10G):
Simply get an 8x multiplier... This is done once you have built up enough star power. When you reach a 4x multiplier, activate your SP by either pressing Select or tilting the Guitar.


Perfectionist Award (30G):
Get 100% notes hit on a song... Use the first tier of songs on Easy as they are the simplest.
Easiest Songs: Trogdor (Easy) and Monkey Wrench (Easy)


Rock Snob Award (10G):
Refuse to play an Encore... This is done in "Career" mode. After playing the initial set list, you will be prompted to play an Encore. Refuse to do so... and you can go back and play the Encore song after you refuse to do it.


Long Road Ahead Award (10G):
Fail a song on Easy... This is harder than it sounds since the game won't even let you fail a song until 20% of the way through lol.


Hendrix Award (10G):
Beat a song with lefty flip on... Easy for those of you who are left handed. But for the rest of us, this setting is under your player options. Once done, I recommend you play on easy, this will mess with your head too lol.


Teacher's Pet Award (10G):
Practice three different songs... Practice mode is under "Training" on the main menu. I assure you, if you plan on getting better (Or if you plan on beating Jordan on Expert), you'll be using this more than just three times.


Saturday Morning Award (10G):
Beat the songs Trogdor and Thunder Horse... These are both Bonus Tracks and this can be done on any difficulty. The songs first have to be purchased from the store in Career Mode.


Kick the Bucket Award (30G):
Beat the song Jordan on Expert... Practice mode. That's all I can say. I will provide the link to "The Official Jordan Thread" but I have a FEW tips. You MUST have FULL SP. You pretty much need to make it to the break in Solo B without SP. The break (About 49%) is a very small but noticable gap where there are no notes. If you use your SP at the break in Solo B it WILL run out before the BNoF (Blue Note of Freedom) which is the first note of Solo D (Basically the last note of the insane crazy shit). You need to be pretty damn good at the end of Solo C so that when your SP runs out you do not fail instantly because it CAN happen. Once you make it to the BNoF you are home free, there really isnt anything else standing in your way of beating this song. Solo F gets a little crazy again but it is short and you will have many oppurtunities to build your SP up prior to this Solo. The Bridge is also a bitch but once again you will have SP and even if you just hit the Greens you will be fine. Good Luck, and practice A LOT... It took me a month to beat this song.

Complete Career Lefty and Righty
This achievement is relatively easy
Just complete the career using your normal hand then go into the options and turn on (or off) lefty flip making the notes seem backwards to what you are used to
Then create a new band and complete the career
This should probably be done on easy due to the fact that it messes with your brain
...or you could use a mirror lol
You can do this on the same band but you need to play at least one difficulty setting only on lefty flip and one on Regular


Who Needs the Power (15G):
200k on Cult of Personality without Star Power
If you are a beast...then by all means go for it on expert! but for the rest of us this achievement is much easier on hard
Practice the solo until you can 100% or come near to 100%ing it
I achieved this by missing one stupid note outside of the solo but then aced the solo and had roughly 220K points so there is some margin for error....just dont use star power! lol
*Note* You can use star power after the false ending to get an extra boost in points!


Whammy Mania (15G):
There is a super cheap trick to gaining this one
Its called...Play the song on easy and push the whammy bar down...THE WHOLE TIME! yes this works with the Les Paul and the Explorer!
Just dont miss a held note and you win


Star Mania (15G):
Activate Star Power 3 times on Through the Fire and Flames on Expert
You get the gist of it...use star power three times on TTFAF
The trick is getting the star power in the first place

Ok this seriously is the hardest achievement in the game.
The tutorial is the most boring thing in the world and it just drags on and on and on and on...

Best thing to do is start the first of FOUR tutorials and go take a dump
Then come back start the second one and go take a shower
Come back start the third one clean your room
Start the fourth one and go on a freaking date and MAYBE MAYBE that last one will be done...

*Keep in mind that the next 4 ARE stackable!
Meaning if you complete Hard then Medium and Easy also Unlock!*


Make It ~20G~
Complete the Career on Easy

^^^ Dont do it save yourself! Even if this is your very first guitar hero game, just play it on medium.


Movin' Out ~30G~
Complete the Career on Medium

This is the setting where you learn to slide so the orange button doesnt shove a broom up your buttocks.

Complete the Career on Hard

Dream On ~75G~
Complete the Career on Expert

THIS SETTING WILL... wait... this is Aerosmith? oh
This setting is a cake walk through fun solo's and boring cover songs! Have fun!

Unlock Aerosmith as the playable band

Very very easy just complete the first two Non-Aerosmith songs and hit the "Bring on Aerosmith" button and this will unlock.


Jailbait ~5G~
Play a song at the Nipmuc venue

Youll get this after completing the first song in career.


Cheesecake ~10G~
Earn a 100 note streak in Career or Quick Play (Local only)

Just as the description states,
Hit 100 notes in a row without overstrumming or missing a note.

Pretty easy stuff here.


Crazy ~20G~
Earn a 500 note streak in Career or Quick Play (Local Only)

Same as above just a bit harder, shouldnt be too hard with a little practice.
Try the Dream Police.


No More, No More ~10G~
Perform all the Encores

The "encore" is the last song on each of the 4 setlists.
This will unlock opon completing,

Buy all of the guitars and once the achievement pops up exit out to the dashboard BEFORE saving, then go back in and purchase all of the characters and songs!


Kings and Queens ~20G~
Purchase all the playable characters from The Vault

To unlock this you must buy all of the characters in the store, note that some of them arent unlocked until later.

To buy all of the characters you need $60,000.

You earn $57,600 for 5*ing the career on Expert.


Big Ten Inch Record ~20G~
Purchase all the bonus songs

Note you cannot purchase all of the songs until you unlock "Kings and Queens" which is unlocked for completing the career.

To buy all of the songs you need $4,500


Toys in The Attic ~20G~
Purchase all guitars from The Vault (Bass/Lead/Rhythm)

Good news! you do NOT have to buy the guitars you unlock for completing/5*ing the careers!

To buy all of the guitars you need $93,200.


Same Old Song and Dance ~50G~
Complete every song in the setlist and the Vault (Local only)

This is unlocked after completing the career then buying all of the bonus songs then completing them.

Total of 41 songs.


Score Hero ~30G~
Score "325,000" or more on the song "Train Kept a Rollin'"

Pretty easy for most of us,
If you are having trouble try using a star power path.

Score 2,000,000 in the Career

This achievement is really easy... like so easy I think you can get it on easy.


Eat the Rich ~30G~
Earn $50,000 in career earnings

This is aculmative throughout all of your careers so no worries if you cant 5* expert!


I don't Want to Miss A Thing ~30G~
Earn a gold star rating on a song on Medium or harder difficulty (Local only)

Pretty simple, to "Gold Star" a song just hit every note.
Heck overstrum if you must.


Gems ~25G~
Hit every star power phrase on a song (Local or Xbox LIVE)

Simple as pie, just dont overlap and you'll be fine!


Sick as a Dog ~25G~
Earn a 5 star rating for a song on Medium or harder (Local or Xbox LIVE)

This is an easy achievement, even if you're new to the game - just spend some time working on any song that you enjoy playing!


Ain't that a B***h 20G
Earn a gold star rating on a song (Local only)

Dream Police on any setting will get this for you.


Big Ones ~15G~
Earn a 300 note streak in Co-op (Local or Xbox LIVE)

When playing co-op the notes are combined which means if you person messes the note streak gets dropped.

Earn a 300 note streak with out messing up to earn this.


Cryin' ~25G~
Earn a 600 note streak in Co-op (Local or Xbox LIVE)

Same as above just 600 notes instead of 300.

You can get this pretty easily on I hate Myself for loving You both on Easy
Or virtually any song in the first 3 tiers on expert if both players are moderately good


Combination ~5G~
Earn an 8x multiplier in Co-op (Local or Xbox LIVE)

Basicly get a 30 note streak and activate star power.


Let The Music Do The Talking ~40G~
Earn a gold star rating on a Co-op song (Local or Xbox LIVE)

This achievement is different then you may think
You both dont have to 100% a song at the same time, if one of you gets 100% and the other gets 98% the achievement will unlock for the person who got 100%.


When I Needed You ~15G~
Activate Star Power 3 times in a song in a Co-op match (Local or Xbox LIVE)

Simple eh? Just tilt or press select at the same time to activate star power, then do it two more times.


What it Takes ~35G~
Play 20 online ranked matches of any game type

If you dont care about losing do what I did
Join a battle match and fail instantly by strumming and fretting like a madman.

I think this achievement is for songs not matches.


Deuces are Wild ~40G~
Complete all songs on the setlist as the lead guitarist (Local or Xbox LIVE - primary user)

OK Apperently you CAN get this on XBOX LIVE.
BUT only the host gets it AND it doesnt always work.
If you do it online don't expect it to work.

Alternitively you can turn on No-Fail and complete the 30 setlist songs by yourself
Then turn No-Fail off and fail a song and it will unlock!
The No-Fail code is,

My Fist Your Face ~20G~
Win an online Pro-Face off Match

Yup yup yup easy going.

Walking the Dog ~20G~
Win an online ranked Pro-Face Off match by 10,000 or more points

You'll most likely get this one without trying too hard


Soul Saver ~20G~
Win a ranked online Battle Mode match with a Death Drain attack

You have to go into sudden death to get the death drain
Try joining an Ranked Easy Battle and saving Lefty Flip, Whammy, And Amp overload then when the song starts over activate all 3 to make your opponent miss the death drain and its insta win for you!


Love me Two Times ~40G~
Complete all songs on the setlist as the Bass/Rhythm guitarist ( Local or Xbox LIVE - primary user)
