Alternate Strumming

Typical alt-strumming sequence Alternate Strumming (or Alt-Strumming) is a method in which you strum both up and down alternatively. This method is used to hit notes with greater ease in fast passages (ex: Song_GH2_Misirlou Misirlou, Song_GH3_KnightsOfCydonia Knights of Cydonia, Song_GH2_Six Six, and Song_GH2_TheLightThatBlinds The Light That Blinds). It can be used in slower passages as well, such as Song_GH3_NumberOfTheBeast Number of the Beast, but many players prefer to down-strum instead.

The Alt-Strumming link should probably be removed, since it sends you back to this same page, but I don't know how to do it.

It's an auto link so it can be removed. I know that is annoying
