Death Magnetic is a commercial album released by the rock group Metallica on September 10th, 2008. In addition to its commercial release, it was also released as downloadable content on September 12th, 2008 for Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock; the album is also forward compatible to Guitar Hero: World Tour and Guitar Hero: Metallica. For Guitar Hero: Metallica, the game will read all of the DLC tracks except for Song_GH3_allnightmarelong All Nightmare Long∞, which is already in the game. It costs $17.99 to download through the Playstation Network and 1,440 Microsoft Points (about $18) to download through Xbox LIVE. The full album takes up approximately one gigabyte of hard disk space.
