Scorehero.com∞ was officially opened to the public on January 28, 2006. Most of the work was done by site master Joseph Cirri (
User_JCirri JCirri∞), while Matt helped set up the forums, which were not opened until February 4, 2006. Although the site started out small, it soon began growing exponentially.
ScoreHero incorporates both an active forum and scoretracking and ranking facilities. Although it started by tracking
Guitar Hero only, after several years the site now tracks the following games:
The site has become renowned for attracting many of the world's best players, for their great work pioneering game modifying (
custom songs), work on
star power paths and generally encouraging players to take their game to the next level.
