, where he proudly documents his future arthritis with other fans of the smash-hit music games. Primarily playing on the Xbox 360 video game console, Graf enjoys setting goals for himself, while comparing with others for incentive to raise career scores in every Guitar Hero game.
Hello, everyone! You have probably seen me around the forums, been in a rivalry with me, or
maybe even saw me in #triviahero. Most people probably recognize me because of the amount of times I post, combined with my Free Bird banner and recognizable avatar (it's been the same for over a year). For those of you who don't know me; I am Graf. I joined
ScoreHero in 2007, but I lurked here since 2006. Back then, my only purpose in looking at
ScoreHero was the
Hardware section∞, which I used to look for the raddest paint jobs and modifications to the standard SG controller. I remember Nick Bruno (nickb611), a friend of mine from grade school, showing me the site during a fun day of Guitar Hero. However, it wasn't until Guitar Hero II's release that I actually checked out the site for more than a passing moment. You see, a monumental accomplishment in my Guitar Hero playing had happened; I achieved my very first full combo. Like many people, my first FC was Heart-Shaped Box. While recently reminiscing the day I FC'd it: Rickles said, "It was crazy. None of us had ever even thought of the difficulty involved in hitting every note, and there it was; the first FC." That moment is what eventually snowballed into my presence on
ScoreHero. It was soon afterward that we started playing everyday. After a short while, Rickles joined the site. Finally being "decent" at Guitar Hero, I decided now would be a good time to join, feeling motivated enough to start entering scores. Awkwardly feeling my way around the site, I got used to entering scores and comparing users, but never dared enter the
Forum∞. I was petrified. Being a new user, and never using an online forum previously, I was afraid of breaking one of the
Forum rules∞ and getting myself banned. It wasn't until Rickles stressed to me how easy it was, and how most of the rules are common sense anyway, that I finally started posting. One of my first posts was locked, and such is the way things go. Later, the release of Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock inspired me to create an
accomplishments thread∞, which I eventually bumped with my first accomplishment; getting a
rating on Raining Blood. I was growing to love
ScoreHero. I enjoyed every aspect of the site, and tried my best to utilize it everyday. Around the time that Rock Band was set to come out, I donated to the site. I wanted to try and give back to the community that I had felt given me so much. Then Rock Band and the accompanied Rock Band side of
ScoreHero came out, and I had a whole different field to play on. Ever since then, I have been hooked. This site is part of my daily life because of how great it is, how amazingly it is run, and how efficient and coherent the staff is. The
ScoreHero Wiki is the next step in the equation, and I can't wait to see what else comes to
ScoreHero in the future.
