Guitar Hero

Guitar Hero is a franchise based around rock music and guitar gameplay. It was originated by Harmonix, who made each game in the franchise up to Game_GuitarHeroEncoreRocksThe80s Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s for the PlayStation 2. That was Harmonix's last game in the Guitar Hero franchise, after which they sold the rights to Activision and Neversoft, who continued to make Game_GuitarHeroIIILegendsOfRock Guitar Hero 3∞, Game_GuitarHeroAerosmith Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, and the upcoming Guitar Hero: World Tour. When Harmonix sold Guitar Hero, they continued directly to start working on Game_RockBand Rock Band∞, another now popular music game featuring a full band, with guitar, bass, vocals, and drums.
