Midnight Gaming Championship
The Midnight Gaming Championship is an annual tournament series that has been running since the fall of 2006. It's inaugural season took place at nine different locations throughout the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex. The events generally take place at a Mc Donald's in a big tent in the parking lot. The 2006 season included
Guitar Hero∞ as a tournament game. The main tournament had a total prize package worth $2500 for the winner of the tournament for each game. The 2007 season did not include a game from the Guitar Hero series. They did, however, expand their tournaments to a national level that year and included more cities beyond the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. The 2008 season includes
Guitar Hero III∞ as a tournament game and is still at a national level. According to MGC's
website∞, the 2008 season's last scheduled city is on October 11, 2008.
