As I stated above I grew up on Long Island with my mother and step-father during the very early years of my life. My mother passed when I was a child I grew up with my uncle, aunt and cousins for many years after that. I bounced around from here and there on LI for the next few years, and once I (thought I) completed high school, I moved to North Carolina, where I lived for about a year or so. I finally made my way to the good old Bluegrass state, where I now live in Lexington, with my beautiful fiance and our son Neo.
I have been playing video games since the age of 4, when I got a Nintendo Entertainment System from my mother for Christmas, which has been to this day the biggest point in my life, considering I am highly addicted to video games now.
I first saw Guitar Hero at a Best Buy in Lexington, where some kids were playing I Love Rock 'n' Roll on Easy, where I immediately scoffed and laughed at the morons with their plastic guitars. Deep down inside my soul, I laughed at myself, for I knew at that moment I would succumb to the monster that is Guitar Hero.
Soon after that I broke down and bought it after hearing stories from some co-workers. Soon thereafter, I blew through Easy, and felt like a champion. That was squashed once I hit Medium and Hard, but I knew the moment I bought and held the game that I would be good at it.
Shortly before Guitar Hero 2 came out I had finally beaten GH1 on Expert. I had GH2 beaten on Expert within the next 2 days, and got so hooked on the entire GH franchise that I have not gone a single day where I don't play at least one song. I started making videos, and uploading them onto YouTube, thinking that I was some sort of Guitar Hero God.
That is, until I came across wuLFe's and Priest's videos and the great SArmstr0ng!
This was how I learned of Scorehero, and have been bouncing in and out since I joined. I have no interest in inputting scores, for I know I will not fare well in the rankings. My main interests for Scorehero are pretty much everything this great forum has to offer, as well as contributing nothing but game quality custom songs for the rest of you to enjoy. At this point I only have one that is not so game quality, but it will be soon. I am also teasing the idea of setting up and holding tournaments for those in the area.
I am not as good as some of the top guys, but I can hold my own against some of the better GH players. Definite weaknesses are not remembering SP paths and just simply getting nervous and screwing up.
Favorite GH Songs: Spanish Castle Magic, Ace of Spades, No One Knows, Cowboys From Hell, Bark At The Moon, Caveman Rejoice, Billion Dollar Babies, Killing In The Name, The Trooper, YYZ, Beast And The Harlot, Hangar 18, Turning Japanese, Round and Round, Wrathchild, Seventeen, Bulls On Parade, Lay Down, La Grange, The Metal, Cult of Personality, Cliffs of Dover, One, Cities on Flame, My Curse
Hated GH Songs: Farewell Myth, Behind The Mask, Psychobilly Freakout, Yes We Can, Kool Thing, Story of My Life
Most recently, I have declined in my interest in GH games and have been playing much more Rock Band 2. I am simply just not as good at GH as I used to be and like to think I dominate on RB much better. So if you're looking to play, that's the game I am on!
I play all kinds of other games. You will more than likely find me playing Gears of War, Guitar Hero or whatever else has happened to come out in recent weeks, so if you want to jump in with me, just hit me up on XBL.
Other than playing video games, I like to read, write, design, learn, spend time with my friends, just have a good time in general. I love to spend time with my son and teach him the proper way to be a human being; informed and compassionate. He is only 2 at the moment so he doesn't care, just wants to watch Elmo movies and watch me play Guitar Hero.
