Currently Working On
- Resqueezing just about every song in a daring attempt to break the top 10 for Expert Vocals in Rock Band 2.
- And this wiki page, obviously. :P
- 95% or better on Screaming For Vengeance solo (Expert)
Recent
- Tangled Up In Blue Expert Vocals FC, making it the last FC I need for a complete on-disc FC.
- I am currently ranked 12th overall on Scorehero for Expert Vocals as of 11/03/2008.
I wrote a lot before this, then erased it, and now I'm starting anew. So sit tight, there's more to come!

Some Guitar Hero/Rock Band History
December 2006 - Played Guitar Hero II on PS2 for the first time after repeatedly dismissing the game for being "stupid/retarded".
June 2007 - Got an Xbox 360 and my own copy of Guitar Hero II.
July/August 2007 - First pass of Freebird, followed by the first pass of Jordan, about a month later.
October 2007 - 5-starred Guitar Hero II main setlist on Expert. Beat Guitar Hero III main setlist on the first day, and also passed Through the Fire and Flames for the first time on October 29th, 2007.

The Story So Far
The Early Days
I think the very first rhythm-based game I got into was Dance Dance Revolution back when I was in 5th grade. I played that pretty intensely up through 8th grade where I placed 2nd in a middle/highschool tournament, and decided to call it quits soon after.
And So It Begins...
So when I'd first heard about Guitar Hero, I thought it was the most retarded concept for a video game I'd ever heard of. It wasn't until Decemeber of 2006 that I actually put a plastic guitar in my hands and played for the first time at my cousin's. I picked up on it pretty fast, starting on Medium and eventually working my way up to Expert. After a while, I bought Guitar Hero II for Xbox 360 before even owning the console itself, so I was just lugging my X-Plorer around to other people's houses and mooching off of them. Finally in June 2007 I had a console to call my own and started playing the game non-stop.
My first encounter with Scorehero was when a friend of mine beat my score on Mr. Fix It and told me he had used a "path" to do it. Of course I had no idea what that meant at the time, but it didn't take me too long to figure it out. At the time I was not really fixated on beating my scores, so I only pathed a handful of songs before going on to 5-star the main setlist on Expert, which at the time, was a HUGE deal. After that, I decided to take a small break from Guitar Hero II, at least until Guitar Hero III came out.
The Guitar Hero III Era
I picked up Guitar Hero III on release day, eager to play all the new songs that I'd been waiting for over the past couple months, and especially anxious to try my hand at the notorious Through the Fire and Flames. I beat the Expert setlist, and tried my hand at it, only to get about 3% into the song at most, but I wasn't done yet. If I remember correctly, my first pass was completed on 10/29/2007, and it felt great. However, my accumulated playing over the first couple days was killing my strumming arm, and more specifically, my wrist. I think this was the first time I'd ever experienced any sort of pain from Guitar Hero, so I decided to take a small break from it.
Like just about every other Xbox 360 owner, I of course, had the hunger for achievements. However, one in particular caught my eye, and it was the "Enlightened Guitarist" achievement. I figured, "Hey, 20 FCs is a good goal to shoot for.", but I was wrong. I got the 20 Full Combos that I needed for the achievement, but for some reason I couldn't stop. The gratifying feeling of working so hard to get the Full Combo kept me going, and it started to turn into an addiction. I was able to rack up another 15 Full Combos before I decided to ultimately call it quits on the FCs. I had hit the wall. Now I only had one goal left to do: 5-star Through the Fire and Flames.
Déjà Vu Much? a.k.a. Rock Band
With the announcement/release of Rock Band, I just kept thinking, "Wow, this game looks so dumb.", but little did I know that Harmonix would somehow work their magic and I would find myself reeled into the world of Rock Band. After playing it at a friend's once, I was almost immediately hooked. I had already established that I was at least semi-decent on Guitar/Bass, so I decided to tackle the Drums & Vocals careers. At my peak, I was top 100 for Expert Vocals, and by the release of Rock Band 2, I had career scores of ~10,000,000 for both Drums and Vocals.
My two friends (Name (Gamertag/SH username) Trong (Trongavitus/Trong) and Cina (NinjaCina/its cina), decided that we should form a 3-person group for Guitar (Trong) /Drums (Me) /Vocals (Cina) and see how far we could climb up the leaderboard. We graduallly made our way through the entire setlist, with on-the-fly pathing, and somehow managed to nab/steal a couple firsts from the other bands. By the end of it I had a broken drum pedal, but our band, Strategy City, went on to take 1st place for the category, and I believe we still hold that spot to this very day (10/31/2008). It's probably one of my/our proudest Rock Band 1 accomplishments.
