Rock Band and Guitar Hero have really changed my life. When I first picked up the game, I was horrible. Not only that, I wasn't even interested in it- it was stupid to me. However, after playing some more of Guitar Hero 2 and 3, I decided to try Rock Band after some persistence from my friend to try it. I picked up guitar immediately, since that's what I had left off at in Guitar Hero 3. However, after I finished the setlist I picked up drums and gave those a try. Tried it on easy and medium first and couldn't pass a thing. I've definitely advanced far from there.
Not only have I improved on drums, I've done well at other instruments, too. In the beginning, OMBFCs seemed way out of reach for me because I wasn't good enough on anything. Now I can OMBFC stuff like Desperate Times, Desperate Measures, New Wave, Monkey Wrench and Everlong.
Obviously though, my progression on drums has been the most surprising. Some of my more impressive accomplishments are: First ever Peace Sells drum FC, Blackened FC, Rock Band 1 Full Game FC, Duran Duran all songs FC, Nine Inch Nails all songs FC, B.Y.O.B. FC, Sin Wagon and Hands Down FCs. There are plenty more, so if you would like to see my full list I'll put the link to my accomplishment thread down at the bottom of this page.
However, I wouldn't be playing Rock Band anymore if it wasn't for scorehero. There are some people I would like to thank in particular, so here that goes:
- IndestructibleSD: Probably my closest friend I've made through this game. I've been friends with you for over a year now, and you were an awesome bandmate and person, and one HELL of a vocalist (even though I apparently didn't see your potential at first, hahaha.)
- Killzonedout: Another unbelievable person and vocalist. It's weird that some of our best times have been on Modern Warfare 2 and not Rock Band 2 though. I promise, I'll try to get better at that game.
- Chawk, NFL, Stewo: It's a shame we couldn't get that band together. You three are all really cool people, and incredibly talented on your respective instrument(s).
- Lycrios, Curtisistheninja: I really enjoyed our times together drum score dueling or playing in band quickplay. You two were amazing people (even though Lycrios is a stupid Canadian, hahaha).
- Dogfoodnyc, Bishop, GuitarGodDavis: You guys really inspired me to get better, and you were my first bandmates. You three are amazing!
- Rykuzeath: I was also in a band with you. You were also an awesome person and an amazing vocalist.
- The rest of the PS3 community that I played with: Sorry I left you guys. I know that pissed a lot of you off, so yeah. Sorry guys, I didn't leave 'cause you guys weren't awesome.
- Unrealecko: I loved watching your videos. After I started talking to you through AIM though, I realized you were an awesome person and an even better drummer than I thought. Thanks for all the fun times/times to come!
- Eightswordsman: Was awesome of Danny to introduce me to you, I love BQP'ing with you on RB2, but your brother needs to stop playing XBOX so much so we can play more.
- Dark1243: Sorry I never got to play with you on PS3, lol. You're still one of the coolest people I've talked to.
- Lefty: I'll put you on here even though you didn't put me on yours 'til I FGFCd RTTH. Loser. <3
- Carungi, Mark, Matty, Arte, etc.: I didn't talk to all of you, but you were all amazing players and I really enjoyed looking at your accomplishments.
- Diex, FobulousJJ, Gamingdaze, Nourali: You guys were probably my greatest drumming rivals, I have always looked up to your accomplishments, and you guys are some amazing people.
- PokeJJ, Erkle: I seriously love you guys. We had some awesome times on PS3, and you were two of the reasons I still wish I was on PS3.
- AH, I forgot engrave: Seriously, you're awesome. Even though you don't like putting up with me and my like, 1-15 rounds on MW2, I still appreciate playing with you, and you're an amazing guitarist as well. <3
- Everybody who has commented in my accomplishment thread/helped me out in any way: Thank you guys so much, I love waking up to posts in my acc. thread, that's why I'm still playing.
- Squidy: I love you man. You were one of my best friends on PS3, and one of the first great people I've played with. I miss you now, and I'm definitely gonna continue missing you. Rest in peace bro. <33
