Pre-Score Hero

My first message board was Cheat Planet, which I discovered in September of 1998 while looking for pre-release information for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I became a member and forums quickly became a part of my life. In my time there, I held every staff position, including Moderator, Global Moderator, and Administrator. There were approximately 60,000 - 70,000 members at Cheat Planet.

Cheat Planet was eventually bought by Future Networks USA (FNU) and shut down. The remaining community split, half going to FNU's forum GamesRadar.com, half going to 1337Planet.net I chose both options, and continued to hold my Global Moderator position at Games Radar. However due to personal conflicts with the executives of FNU, I resigned my staff position there in late 2007.

Score Hero

I first found Score Hero in late 2006, shortly after the release of Guitar Hero II on PS2. I avoided becoming a registered member for quite a long while, as I more enjoyed reading everything I could. I felt inadequate at contributing to the discussion of Guitar Hero, as I didn't know very much about either of the games up to that point. This changed in April of 2008, though, when my desire to participate in a certain discussion prompted me to finally register. Since then I have taken a fairly active role throughout all of Score Hero.

Other Information

I used to run a top 10 (according to google hit information from back then) Legend of Zelda information site named Zelda's Castle. I started building my database of information around the release of Majora's Mask. Due to time restraints, I ceased operation shortly after the release of Wind Waker. I have since continued building information (including walk-throughs and very in depth reviews) about the series and hope to one day re-launch the website if time allows.

Offline History

Education

I graduated Newnan High School Class of 2003, and started college at the University of West Georgia where I majored in pre-Engineering in the Georgia Regional Engineering Transfer Program intended to fast track students from one university to the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech). I made the transfer in Fall of 2007, and am now majoring in Industrial Engineering.

Bowling

I have been involved in many hobbies throughout my life, the biggest of which being bowling. I started bowling in April of 1999, when I was 14. Since then, I have become more competitive and bowling has allowed me to do many things I never dreamed of doing when I first started.

I have a total of six perfect 300 games, four of them in sanctioned league play. One of them was in 2003, three days before my 18th birthday, when I was still a youth bowler. My highest sanctioned series is 816, consisting of 258, 300, and 258.

When I was still a youth bowler, I was highly involved in tournaments, spanning an area of six different states (Georgia, Florida, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tennessee). Traveling, meeting new people, and experiencing everything involved in being a youth leader for the state of Georgia during these tournaments is one of the most rewarding experiences in my life to date.

My interest in bowling is what also got me involved with the current employment I hold. I started working at Junction Lanes Bowling Center in January 2001. Through working here, my knowledge of bowling has expanded to include knowledge of the bowling industry as well. I first started in a customer service position and was promoted to weekend night manager by the time I was 17. I moved to the mechanical side of things in September 2003. I have since worked my way up to head mechanic in charge of all pinsetter maintenance and operations.

Guitar Hero

I first discovered Guitar Hero when a friend brought Game_GuitarHero Guitar Hero to my house. I started on Medium, catching on quite quickly. Within a month or so, I had everything on Medium 5-starred, and had just completed a career on Hard. Around the release of Game_GuitarHeroII Guitar Hero II I started playing Expert and FC'd my first song on Expert, Song_GH1_KillerQueen Killer Queen. I have continued to buy each release of Guitar Hero, and have vastly improved since I first started playing. My current Expert FC count is 58 songs across the Guitar Hero series, and 15 on Game_RockBand Rock Band guitar.
