About Me

I am currently a 4th year student at the University of California, Santa Barbara, majoring in stage lighting design. I'm 21 years old and have been involved with ScoreHero since early 2007.

My ScoreHero Involvement

I've been creating custom songs since mid-2007, when some version or other of FeedBack was updated. Since then I've posted more than 30 charts, although currently my count is less than 30 due to my removal of poor-quality charts. I take great pride in the quality of my work! My discussion thread can be viewed here.

In addition to custom songs, I've also written two guides intended for use in nickb's upcoming update to the already-impressive Guide to Custom Songs. The first is my Guide to Charting Your First Chart in FeedBack, which is directed at those who need a step-by-step approach to learning the somewhat daunting process of creating a chart from scratch. The second is my Guitar Hero Three Control Panel guide, which is aimed at those who have never used GHTCP before, though that's not to say someone familiar with the program can't make use of it. It's quite thorough, if I do say so myself!

I also maintain a resource list in the Software forum, which documents and links to as many video game music remix customs I can find on ScoreHero. It is incomplete, because I'm only human, but it's quite extensive already! It is the aptly named Custom Songs List: Video Game Remixes thread.

My Guitar Hero/Rock Band Experience

I got into Guitar Hero when GH2 was released way back when. Since then I've played 'em all (minus On Tour, because I don't pay for bad games). When the Rock Band/Guitar Hero split occurred, I originally went with Guitar Hero III - the sole reason being it was cheaper. Since then, however, I've become a Rock Band supporter through and through.

I'm no master, but I've got TTFaF and DWDtG on Expert down pat, and I challenge myself with as many custom songs as possible. I don't update my scores on ScoreHero because it's a hassle, and I don't play online because I've got the PC version and it's not so popular.
