Ustream is site where users can live-stream from their webcams, gamebridges, etc. During the fall of 2007, many people would stream themselves playing Guitar Hero. This became even more popular when ScoreHero user User_dho dho∞ created a stream-tracking program that would update with what users are streaming. After a temporary shut-down of the program and Scorehero user User_rkcr rkcr∞ writing a similar program, the idea of those have eventually evolved into SocialGamer, a program that user can download which can give them live stream updates on their desktop. Many people still use Ustream today. It is also used for hosting almost every single RB/GH marathon to date.
