The Wii is the seventh-generation video game console manufactured by Nintendo. The Wii is most often noted for its controller, the Wii Remote (sometimes referred to as simply "Wiimote"), which is both wireless and capable of advanced motion sensing. Although introduced to the Guitar Hero series much later than the PlayStation 2 and the Xbox 360, the Wii is now considered to be a primary console for both Guitar Hero and Rock Band⇒.
