Hi guys, I'm Nick. I'm a junior in high school, and play percussion in the school band. I've been playing Guitar Hero since Christmas Day 2005, when my uncles bought me GH1. I immediately picked it up and wouldn't put it down. I did not discover ScoreHero until mid-2007. By the time I input all my scores from GH2, I was in the low 5000th place. 59xx I believe. That was when I really started getting into the game and working to increase my scores. Since then I have become loads better and am really close to hitting the 100 FC mark

However, around the area I appear to be really good, I have won multiple competitions, some by landslides (in a GH3 first two tier high-score contest, I got 426k on Story of My Life, second place 209k on Talk Dirty to Me), and am undefeated around my high school

I have been playing video games since the tender age of 3 years old, when a fourth uncle (I have 6) bought me a Nintendo 64 for my birthday. My parents hated him after that, as non-stop I would play Super Mario 64 on end. My parents then decided to give me the NES, where I then discovered two of my favorite video games of all time, Tecmo Super Bowl, and Super Mario Bros. 3. Now that I am older, I have a somewhat large library of games, and work to complete and 100% them all

My life isn't very interesting since I'm still in school, but I am, taking my SAT and AP's and all that crap this year. I am in my high school sub-varsity band, playing percussion. I going to start my third year of learning Japanese, it is a very interesting language and not so hard once you learn the freaking alphabet.
Outside of school I play a lot of video games and a lot of guitar. My current axe is a Gothic Epiphone SG. I've had it for about 8 years and still love it to death. I'm not the greatest guitarist for having been playing half my life (I played an acoustic for 2 years before my parents got me the SG), but I can play a few big name songs such as Hallowed be thy Name, Transylvania, Aces High, and The Trooper by Iron Maiden, Bark at the Moon by Ozzy Osbourne, and Welcome Home by Coheed and Cambria. My current project is learning Fade to Black by Metallica.
I have dogs. One of them is an 8 year old Black Lab/Spaniel mix named Fiona. Really big dog, very energetic, always fun to be around. The other is a 2 year old Dachsund/Yorkie mix named Smokey, cause he looks like he has smoke all over himself. Really small dog, even more energetic. Kind of ironic that we have a dog as massive as Fiona and something as small as Smokey. I also have 2 Guinea Pigs, they are the most obnoxious creatures and do not stop squeaking

I got the original Guitar Hero as a Christmas gift in 2005, and I started on medium. By the time GH2 came out I was too scared to move to hard, and I did not come back here until I had five-starred most of the GH2X career, sometime in late 2007. After that I was amazingly better, and easily five-starred the entire career in one go.

Guitar Hero II

Starting again on medium, I got GH2 as a Christmas gift in 2006, and was the last version of Guitar Hero that I did NOT get on the PS2 release date. I started playing on hard randomly one day and found it to be easier than I thought. About halfway through the career on hard, I stepped up to expert, and discovered ScoreHero shortly after.

Guitar Hero III

After buying GH3 on its release date, I immediately jumped into it. GH3 was where I started showing the most improvement from an expert rookie to a seasoned veteran. Going into my 3rd year of playing, I was starting to worry about how I didn't have any FC's, or a setlist 5*. Those worries were the spark that made me how good I am now

Guitar Hero: World Tour

After the 21-day delay from the universal release to the PS2 release, I started immediately on WT. This game kinda slumped for me in the fact that I only completed half of the career and finished the game. I will get around to starting bass and drums as soon as I finish guitar. You will never see vox scores from me on any game

I did not like this game. Period. It had about 3 or 4 good songs on it and that about did it for me. Even though Play with Me did keep me busy on the layover from GH2 to GH3

Guitar Hero Metallica

Woo Metallica! This was another one of those games that Neversoft had to delay just to piss off us PS2 users. Just kidding. Metallica is currently and probably will forever be my favorite Guitar Hero spin-off until they make Iron Maiden. That would be amazing :)
Haven't quite started this game yet, so yeah...
Aside from Guitar Hero, I like playing most any other game. Some of my favorites include Banjo-Kazooie, Metriod Prime, Paper Mario, and Roller Coaster Tycoon, among others. I also enjoy doing 100% speedruns. I am currently in the middle of a segmented Banjo-Kazooie speedrun, and just finished a non-stop Metroid Prime 1 speedrun at a time of 4:01.
Recently, along with Guitar Hero, I have become addicted to Sonic the Hedgehog 2: Battle. I've always wanted to 100% that with a perfect chao garden and all 180 emblems. I am currently stuck at 171 emblems cause of those stupid chao. Ah well, if anyone wants to help me out feel free to say something, it would be greatly appreciated
