I play X Bass; I'm not very good though. But I try. The first time I picked up a plastic guitar was 10 months ago - Christmas '07, mainly because RB was the only game any of my friends would play. Once the initial craze went down, I borrowed a RB1 disc and strat and started trying to get good. I didnt have much time to play though so progress went slowly. Medium guitar was too slow, so quickly I upped to Hard, finishing the tour easily except for FwD⇒. After failing numerous time, I went on to X Guitar around May. Other than a brief phase where I attempted to squeeze my way into 1st place for Med guitar (topped out at #8 I think) and going back to pass FwD⇒ on Hard, I played X from then on. I finished the X career except the final tier. I'm poor, I dont have LIVE, another reason why I play sporatically, but hey, at least I play. I have however played (almost all sightreads, to this day) a bunch of DLC. Kids with rich parents rock. I dont get much time to play as a band with others, as almost no one at NIU plays RB, but back home I can band up occasionally.
Currently, Im working on at least finishing an X Bass career. I've played about 65-70 songs as of 10/8/08, but progress is slow. My goal is to GS/FC 40 songs (lofty, right?) so I can say I'm in the "40-40" club. I'm at 27 GSs and 19 FCs as of 10/8/08. Oh, and I'm trying to do this by Christmas. Really, I dont have near as much time to play as I would wish.
I go to Northern Illinois University; I'm a junior Finance major and I'm not a big fan of my classes.
And I work at a Shell gas station for an Indian guy named Abhijay. Yeah...
