Ustream is site where users can live-stream from their webcams, gamebridges, etc. During the fall of 2007, many people would stream themselves playing Guitar Hero. This became even more popular when ScoreHero user dho created a stream-tracking program that would update with what users are streaming. After a temporary shut-down of the program and Scorehero user rckr writing a similar program, the idea of those have eventually evolved into SocialGamer, a program that user can download which can give them live stream updates on their desktop. Many people still use Ustream today.
